Srinagar, January 26 : Kashmiris on both sides of the Line of Control and across the world are observing Indian Republic Day, today, as Black Day in protest against India’s continued illegal occupation and denial of Kashmiris’ right to self-determination. Call for the observance of the Civil curfew and Black Day was given by the All Parties Hurriyat Conference Chairman, Masrrat Alam Bhat, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, Shabir Ahmad Shah, JKLF and other Hurriyat leaders and parties. The day is marked with as civil curfew and black day in occupied Kashmir and anti-India demonstrations and rallies in AJK and in world capitals.The authorities also suspended internet and mobile services in all areas of the territory till 3PMIST.
BENGALURU,January 26: The Karnataka political, social and religious org has asked Muslim students and parents not to participate in “Surya Namaskar” official programes as the ritual is against Islam. “Surya Namaskaar” is against Islam. We don’t prostrate before our Prophet Muhammad PBUH and we believe in oneness of the only God.The organisation including the state unit of Jamaat-e-Islami Hind (JIH) Dr. Muhammad Saad Belgami, told media men that, “Surya Namaskaar” is against Islam. We don’t prostrate before our prophet Muhammad ( PBUH) and we believe in oneness of the God. “Surya Namaskar” is not allowed for Muslim students,” he said.
Srinagar, Jan 18, 2022: A joint team of Indian Army and Special Operation Group have launched Cordon and Search Operations and beefed up security ahead of Indian Republic Day in Poonch district in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir. Ahead of Indian Republic Day, the vigil along the Line of Control has been heightened and as a part of this, CASO was launched in Poonch and Mendhar belts, said a senior police officer.The searches were also continued in different areas of Samba and Ramban districts and close to the LoC areas. Indian army soldier and a police man died in Kupwara and Baramulla districts.
Rajouri,Jan 18: Five persons were killed while two others were injured in three separate road accidents in district Rajouri, in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir. Three persons including a driver were killed while another person seriously injured when a Tipper rolled down into a deep gorge in remote Khawas area of district Rajouri.

New Delhi,January 17 : At least 50 politicians, former officials, and peace activists have urged India and Pakistan to attend to their differences and work for durable peace in the region. Even as there looks no immediate headway towards deescalating tensions between South Asian nuclear neighbours, Indian peace activist Om Prakash Shah who released compilations of 50 articles in the form of a book titled In Pursuit of Peace: Improving Indo-Pak Relations, in New Delhi on Saturday, requesting both countries to at least start talks to find solutions to their political issues.

Srinagar, Nov 8, 2021: Jammu and Kashmir , 194 fresh covid-19 cases were reported in the last 24 hours in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir . Among the fresh cases, 156 were reported from Kashmir valley, nine from Jammu region and 27 persons including 20 students of a school in Ladakh region, taking the overall virus tally to 354109, the official reports said.
