September 27, 2022 Kashmir, the highest militarised zone in the world, has rarely seen a peaceful day since the Subcontinent was partitioned. India has tried every measure of suppression to curtail the legitimate demand of the Kashmiri people; their right to self-determination or plebiscite as per United Nations resolutions. It is ironic to observe that the nation which claims to be largest democracy in the world but has now turned into a Hindutva dominated state holds the worst human rights records in Indian Illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir which obviously shows the worth of Indian democracy in the world that is nothing but hollow.

Srinagar, October 11, 2019: Indian police during crackdown operation arrested  Danish Ahmad Sheikh, Abid Hussain , Zahid Mohi ud din Sheikh and Aqib Ahmad at Ishtengoo in Bandipora district. The authorities did not allow people to offer Friday prayers in Jamia Masjid for last two and a half months while the normal life remained disrupted in Kashmir today with shops remaining closed and traffic was off the roads.The mobile telephone services and internet including broadband services remained suspended since August 5.

Srinagar,  November 16,2016: Indian Police arrested a  12th class student from Nowhatta in Srinagar when class 12th examinations started across Kashmir valley .
The arrested student has been identified as Abdul Waheed Dar son of Ghulam Mohammad Dar, a resident of Pandan Nowhatta. Police also has confirmed his arrest. A top cop in police station Nowhatta confirmed the arrest and claimed that Waheed was wanted in a case for his involvement in a pro-freedom protests.

Srinagar, Jun 13: The investigations ordered into the killing of a teanager 17-year-old youth Fahat Ahmad Dar  during a police firing at Naidkhai Sumbal in Bandipore district in March this year 2014 have been completed last week and a detailed report has been submitted to the authorities.
According to the reports, the magisterial probe ordered by the district administration of Bandipora on March 21, 2014  was submitted with the detailed account of the eye witnesses over the firing incident in which a 17-year-old Fahat Dar was killed and others injured.
