Srinagar, July 20, 2016 :  A fifity one year-old bullet injured civilian, Ghulam Mohammad Mir, resident of Khumryal Lolab in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district succumbed to his injuries in SMHS Srinagar hospital on Wednesday. Ghulam Mohammad Mir was injured four days ago by a bullet fired by Indian forces on pretester. With the succuming of Mir, the death toll has gone up to 49 civilian including three femals and several teanage boys after protests erupted in the valley against the killing of  a prominennt Hizbul Mujahideen commander, Burhan Wani (22-year od ) on July 8.

Srinagar, Sunday, 20 July 2014 : At least ten people including a teenage boy who received a bullet in his back were injured in Kulgam. A shutdown was also observed in Kulgam  and Islamabad ( Anantnag) districts against the killing of teenagerSuhail Ahmad Lone, 15, son of Ghulam Qadir Lone of Havoora, Mishpora. A 16-year-old boy was injured today  in Indian paramilitary Central Reserver Police Force (CRPF) firing in Islamabad district during protests against the killing of a youth in a similar incident in Kulgam district.

Pregnant woman killed, husband critical in Srinagar hospital

Srinagar,Wednesday, 16 July 2014 : The woman who was killed by a speedy Indain army truck rammed into a cab in Srinagar was expecting and was scheduled to deliver next month, her family said on Wednesday.  Zareefa was among the seven people killed in the incident which took place on the Srinagar-Baramulla highway near Lawvaypur village in Srinagar.

At least six people were killed and two others were critically injured when an Indian army truck rammed in to a mini-passenger vehicle on the outskirts of Srinagar at HMT Zainakote in Noora Hospital on Wednesday.
