Exihibition – losing sight in Kashmir in the British parliament!

London; 14 July 2019: An exhibition entitled “Losing Sight in Kashmir”(on the human rights situation in India Held Kashmir) was organised by Lord Qurban Hussain and MP Kelvin Hopkins in association with Organisation of Kashmir Coalition (OKC) in the Houses of Parliament.   The Exhibition is in conformity with the observations made in the UN Human Rights Commissioners’ Reports of June 2018 and July 2019 and the Amnesty International`s Report on "Losing Sight in Kashmir.”

Impunity has made armed forces habitual offenders, India will suffer for what it did in Kashmir: Arundhati Roy

New Delhi, January 26 : Underscoring the need to punish the Indian armed forces personnel involved in human rights violations in Kashmir, renowned author and activist Arundhati Roy has said that impunity enjoyed by the forces had made them habitual offenders.

Parents express concern over plight of detainees

Srinagar, October 16, 2011 :  The parents of Kashmiri detainees lodged in Tihar Jail, New Delhi, have expressed serious concern over the plight of their incarcerated sons in this jail.

in a statement, the parents said that these detainees were meted out very hostile and acrimonious treatment by the jail authorities.

Indian trooper molested a girl in Doda

Srinagar. April 14, 2011: An Indian trooper abducted and molested a girl of Doda district. A Territorial Army of 159-battalion has been detained for raping a girl at Marmat in the district. Acting on the complaint of the girl, resident of Marmat village in Doda police has detained Ashish Kumar, a soldier of 159 battalion of TA on Tuesday.
