Indian police arrest two youth in Bandipore

 Srinagar, Nov 07: Indian police arrested two outh in Bandipore district in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir. The youth were arrested by Indian police during cordon and search operation in Kehnusa area of the district.Additional director general of police Kashmir zone, Vijay Kumar  claimed that the youth were involved in the recent IED blast incident in the Kenusa area of the district. 

Hindu student girl commits suicide after Muslim student friend beaten to death by Hindu Family in UP’s Saharanpur

New Delhi India 7, 2022 – A 19-year-old Hindu BSc student  girl has died by suicide after her Muslim student  friend was beaten to death by the Hindu woman’s family over their friendship in  Indian state Uttar Pradesh’s Saharanpur district.
 
The 20-year-old Muslim died in a hospital in Dehradun after the beating by the Hindus. After she received the news of the Muslim youth’s death, the girl (19) died by suicide, according to the Times of India.
 

Dalit Couple in Karnataka Refused Permission to Wed in Temple

CHIKKABALLAPUR .November 7, 2022:  The authorities of a temple marriage hall, which comes under  Indian state Karnataka’s Muzrai Department, have refused to give permission to a Dalit family to conduct marriage. The incident took place in Gudibande town of Chikkaballapur city.

Indian agency attaches senior jailed APHC leader Shabir Shah’s Srinagar house

Srinagar, November 04  : The Indian Enforcement Directorate (ED) has said that it has attached the house of illegally detained All Parties Hurriyat Conference senior leader Shabbir Ahmad Shah in Srinagar in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir. The house, worth Rs 21.80 lakh, is located in Botshah Colony, Sanat Nagar, in Srinagar.

 Jammu, November 04 :  Indian troops martyred three   Kashmiri youth in Poonch district in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.The troops martyred the youth during a military operation in an area of the Poonch district.

2 Dalits lynched, paraded half-naked for ‘selling beef’ in Indian state Chhattisgarh

November 4, 2022 : Two men were stripped, paraded half-naked for selling beef by Hindutva extremists in the Bilaspur district of Chhattisgarh Indian state. The men have been identified as Ramniwasi Meher (52), a resident of Mudhipar, and Narasimha Rohidas (50), a resident of Rahangi.

Protest at Jantar Mantar against Assam Govt’s ‘Anti-Muslim Policies’

 New Delhi, Nov 04 : Raising its voice against Bharatiya Janata Party’s hate hilled propaganda against minorities particularly Muslims in India, their eviction from homes and demolition of madrassas, All BTC Minority Students’ Union (ABMSU), staged  a protest at Jantar Mantar in New Delhi.  A group of 400 protesters, raised slogans against Himanta Biswa Sarma, Chief Minister of Indian state of Assam, for his anti Muslim policies.

Indian Americans Protest Sonal Shah’s Appointment as The Texas Tribune CEO

WASHINGTON, DC ,November 2, 2022:  The Indian American Muslim Council (IAMC), the largest advocacy organisation for Indian American Muslims, strongly condemned the appointment of Sonal Shah as chief executive officer (CEO) of The Texas Tribune. The council urged The Texas Tribune to rescind the appointment.
