 Guwahati, October 20 :   A Muslim died in an Indian police lockup in Assam’s Bongaigaon district. The victim, identified as Abdul Jabbar, was arrested by police  in a cattle theft case, and put up at Jogighopa police station. It  is reported that the victim was terrorized and tortured in the Jogighopa police station  where he was spotted in a semi-conscious state.

 SRINAGAR, Oct 18: Two non-Kashmiri labourers were killed  in a grenade blast in Shopian district, today, in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir. The two Indian labourers who were injured in a grenade blast during search operation in Harmen area of the district succumbed to their injuries in a local hospital.Indian troops during cordon and search operation also arrested a youth in the  same area of Shopian.

 Muzaffarpur ,October 17, 2022  : A college student in this north Bihar town of Indian state said that objectionable remarks were made against her by a male teacher who got annoyed when she refused to take off her head-scarf (hijab) during an exam on Sunday.

Bengaluru,  October 17: The Indian state Karnataka’s police arrested  Muslim in Bengaluru. A  26-year-old Syed Muyeen  was arrested by Karnatka police on fake charge  of forcing a Hindu girl to follow Islam  who were both close friends and were to marry. Karnataka state is ruled by Hindutva BJP-RSS government. 

 Lucknow, October 16, 2022 : Amid the ongoing attacks on the Muslim community, a Muslim identified as 50-year-old Dawood Ali Tyagi was attacked by a Hindutva RSS, BJP and Banjrandal mob in Vinaipur in Indian state Uttar Pradesh’s Baghpat district. 

 Jammu, Oct 16: A 20-year-old youth allegedly committed suicide in Janipur area of  Jammu city outskirts. A youth identified as Mohammad Sami son of Mohammad Yasir, resident of Mendhar (at present living in a PG) at Gujjar Mohalla, Janipur (Jammu) allegedly consumed some poisonous substance in his room this afternoon.
