   مئی 2020 سرینگر 4 : کپوار شمالی ضلع کپوارہ کے راجواڑ ہندوارہ علاقہ بھارتی  فوج اور کشمیری آزادی پسند نوجوانو ن کے درمیان خونین معرکہ آرائی میں بھارتی فوج اور پولیس کے3اعلیٰ آفیسران سمیت 5 اہلکار ہلاک اور 2 کشمیری حر یت پسند شہید ہو ئے جب بھارتی فورسز کی ایک ہزار سے زائد اہلکاروں نے رہائشی مکان پر جدید ہتھیاروں سے فائرنگ اور کمیکل بارود کے داغے شلنگ کی 

 سرینگر 29اپریل 2020 : شوپیان میلہورہ زینہ پورہ شوپیان گاﺅں میں مظاہرین او ر بھارتی پولیس کے درمیان پر تشدد جھڑپوں میں نصف درجن نوجوان افراد پیلٹ لگنے سے بھی مضروب ہوئے۔ جبکہ بھارتی فورسز نے جدید ہتھیاروں سے شلنگ کی جسمیں 3 رہائشی مکانات مکمل طور پر تباہ جبکہ دو کو شدید نقصان پہنچا۔  

  28 اپریل 2020 سرینگر: جمو ں وکشمیر کے ضلع کلگا م کے علاقہ لو ر منڈا قاضی گنڈ میں بھارتی فورسز ے آپریشن کے دوارن ن مارٹرشلنگ اور چھوٹے قسم کے جدید اسرئیلی ٹیکنالوجی میزائل شلنگ لو ر منڈا قاضی گنڈ رہائشی علاقہ میںاستعمال کئے اور جس ک نتیجے میں 3 رہائشی مکان تباہ ہوگئے۔ اور ملبے سے تیں کشمیری نوجوان شہید ہوگئے شلنگ کے زوردار دھماکے ہوئے جس سے سارا علاقہ دہل اٹھا۔مارٹر شلنگ سے غلام حسن بیگ کا مکان خاکستر ہوا جبکہ عبدالغنی شیخ اور،محمد امین بٹ کے رہائشی مکان دھماکوں سے تباہ ہوئے جس وجہ سے لوگ گھروں میں سہم کررہ گئے۔

NEW YORK, Apr 23, 2020 :The Committee to Protect Journalists (CPJ) urged Indian authorities  to drop police investigation against Kashmiri journalists including, Gowhar Geelani. CPJ, a New York-based watchdog body in a statement while, reiterating its call to stop harassing Kashmiri journalists and allow them to report freely. 
Since April 19, police have also opened investigations into the work of freelance photojournalist Masrat Zahra and The Hindu reporter, Peerzada Ashiq.

 ہندو انتہا پسند وں گروہ کی ایک جماعت نے پھر ایک بار ہماچل پردیش کے ضلع ہر نارا کلڈم میں 18درماندہ کشمیریوں کی شدید مارپیٹ کی ہے جس دوران2افرد شدیدطور زخمی ہوئے ہیں

Srinagar, April 23 : In occupied Kashmir, the noted Kashmiri journalism and political commentator Gowhar Geelani has said that all the charges made against him by authorities are concocted and baseless but he will continue his job with sound professional judgment.

Srinagar April 20,2020: The police has booked a 26-year-old  female Kashmiri photo journalist for uploading anti-India posts on social media.The police have reportedly booked a noted female photojournalist Masrat Zahra,  whose work has been published by reputed news organisations as a freelance photojournalist under unlawful activities (Prevention) Act for uploading anti-India posts . 
“Yes, she has been booked for her Facebook posts that glorify militants. Her posts post threat to law and order and spread misinformation,” Superintendent of Police (SP) Cyber Cell Kashmir, Tahir Ashraf told media men in Srinagar.Police sources said that a case under FIR under UAPA act and 505-IPC stands registered with the Cyber Cell of police, Kashmir. Under IPC 505, a person can be booked for two years of rigorous imprisonment.

March 19, 2020 :  The authorities has imposed strict restrictions across the Srinagar district tomorrow (Friday).The District Magistrate, Srinagar in an order says, no public movement or activity will be allowed anywhere in the district. Only government officials with valid IDs will be allowed to move.Concerned agencies have been directed to ensure strict enforcement of restrictions across the district.Strict action will be taken against violators of the order. Government officials have been asked to ensure no one is found ferried in their vehicles.

 New Delhi, March 19 , 2020: The Amnesty International has said that India must restore full access to internet services in occupied Kashmir and ensure that people have full access to health and safety-related information in the wake of Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic

Srinagar, March 19, 2020: Press freedom in Indian occupied Kashmir is “under a serious threat from security forces”, the International Press Institute (IPI) has said in a report.Raising concerns about the conditions of journalists in the disputed Muslim-majority region, the global media watchdog urged India’s Hindu nationalist government to end restrictions and harassment of journalists placed following revocation of the region’s special status last August.“Journalism in Jammu and Kashmir is under a dramatic state of repression,” Ravi R Prasad, director of advocacy at the Vienna-based IPI, said in a statement.“The state is using a mix of harassment, intimidation, surveillance and online information control to silence critical voices and force journalists to resort to self-censorship.”
