 Press Release WASHINGTON, DC, March 1: Preventing genocide of Muslims in India is an urgent need and the international community must rally to pressure Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s government to ensure the safety of India’s Muslims, genocide experts, human rights defenders, scholars and journalists from around the world said.  Participating in various panel discussions on Saturday, the second day of the three-day virtual conference, India On The Brink: Preventing Genocide, panelists said hate speech and violence, fueled by social media, was prepping India’s masses to commit a genocide of the Muslims.

 Vijaypura, Karnataka, India March 1, 2022:  A Hindutva woman, reportedly associating with Akhil Bhartiya Vidhyarth Parishad (ABVP), has expressed her desire to kill 60,000 people who support head scarp/ hijab in India while giving a call for genocide. Pooja delivered a provocative speech at an event organised to protest the murder of a Bajrang Dal member in Vijaypura, in south Indian state Karnataka. The video of her open call for the massacre of Muslims went viral on social media. “If you ask for water, Indians will give you juice. If you ask for milk, we’ll give you curd. But, if you want head scarp/ hijab all over India, we will chop you all with Shivaji’s sword,” she declared drawing cheers and applause from the crowd.She didn’t bat an eyelid while expressing her desire to kill 60,000 people, presumably Muslims.

 BHOPAL , March 1:  The Hindutva group beat up a Dalit activist  and forced him to drick Urine  in Madya Pradesh in India. Shashikant Jatav was beaten up for seeking information about mismanagement of funds in Gram Panchayat in Gwalior district. The victim, who has been identified as Shashikant Jatav, is a Right to Information (RTI) activist.

 HASSAN, KARNATAKA, March 01: The  upper caste Hindus attacked  Dalit man Chandu, 50 and his son  Nitin, 22 saying that how can people drink sugarcane juice prepared by a Dalit in Karnataka in India . The Hindutva upper caste Hindus attacked a Dalit man and his son for selling sugarcane juice by the roadside at Arakalagudu in Karnataka’s Hassan district.

 Gurugram, Haryana, March 01: Three employees of a CNG pump at Sector 31 in Gurugram Haryana state in India were hacked to death by miscreants in the wee hours of Monday. 

 SRINAGAR, February 28: A passenger was ruthlessly beat up and injured by  traffic police personnel in  Jammu-Srinagar highway in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir. The passenger namely Shafaqat Aslam Bhat of Nowgam Banihal, leaving him severely injured. was hospitalized  after he was beaten up by traffic police personnel in Qazigund along Jammu-Srinagar highway on Monday.

 SRINAGAR, February 28: A police inspector was shot at by the unidentified gunmen in Srinagar city in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir,  today, evening. A police inspector with Anti-Corruption Bureau identified as Sheikh Firdous, was shot at and injured by unknown gunmen near his residence in Dhobi Mohalla Batamaloo area of the city. 

February 28, 2022 PRAYAGRAJ (UP) : The Indian police have lodged an FIR against seven people for allegedly raising “Pakistan Zindabad” slogans during a public meeting at the Handia assembly constituency in Utter Pardash, in India ,officials claimed on Monday. The  Samajwadi Party candidate from Handia assembly seat, Hakim Lal Bind rejecting the police claim, said that the video has been released after “being dubbed by the people from the ruling party BJP” with a motive of making the election “Hindu vs Muslim”.He said the police should have checked the veracity of the video before registering a report.

Srinagar, February 28, 2022:  Indian police arrested a youth in south Kashmir Islamabad district in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir. The youth identified as Shahid Thoker son of Mohammad Iqbal Thoker resident of Nossipora Keegam Shopian was arrested during a surprise naka checking  by police in Islamabad district.
