REMOVE HEAD SCARF/ HIJAB , THEN APPLY FOR WITHDRAWAL OF MONEY: BANK EMPOYEES

 PATNA , India,February 21: A  head scarf/ Hijab girl  was stopped from making transactions in a nationalised bank in Indian state Bihar.When the head scarf/ Hijab girl had gone to UCO bank in Begusarai area of the state to withdraw money, bank employees reportedly asked her to remove hijab which had never happened earlier. The girl recorded the incident and shared it on social media when the girl had gone to UCO bank of Mansoor Chowk branch in Begusarai to withdraw money. 

2,000 Intellectuals write Open Letter In Solidarity With Muslim Students in India

 NEW DELHI, Feb 11 : The intellectuals  has said that ban on head scrap/hijab in classrooms and campuses in south Indian state Karnataka, which is now spreading to other states, is a hate crime.Over 2000  intellectuals, who are working as lawyers, journalists, academicians, and woman-right activists through an open letter said, the ban on hijab in classrooms and campuses in south Indian state Karnataka,  is a hate crime, reported The New Indian Express. The intellectuals while expressing solidarity with the Muslim women who are protesting the ban on hijab said the restrictions on wearing head scrap/ hijab in classrooms and campuses are only the latest pretext to impose ‘apartheid’ on Muslim women.

Students in Hyderabad Stage Protests in Support of Hijab

 Hyderabad, February 10  The Students from Nizamia Unani Tibbi College and Anwarul Uloom College in Hyderabad staged a protest in solidarity with the students opposing ban on Hijab in educational institutions in southern Indian state Karnataka. The girl students holding national flag and placards, the burqa-clad protesters condemned the attempts to target girl students in the neighbouring state, staged silent protest   at the Unani medical college near historic Charminar expressed their solidarity with those in Karnataka fighting for the right to wear Hijab.

INDIAN TROOPS MARTYR 22 KASHMIRIS IN JANUARY

 Srinagar, Feb 01 : Indian troops, in their unabated acts of state terrorism, martyred twenty two (22) Kashmiris including a young boy during the last month of January in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.According to the data issued by the Research Section of Kashmir Media Service, today, of those killed four youth were martyred in a fake encounter.

‘Under Pressure from Hindutva Groups’ Teacher Suspended in Karnataka for Permitting Namaz in School

 KOLAR, KARNATAKA, India, Jan 30 : The Education Department in south Indian state Karnataka suspended a teacher on charges of letting students perform namaz (prayer) inside the school premises in Kolar district of Karnatka  south Indian sate.  S.M. Umadevi, in-charge head mistress of the Balechengappa Kannada Model Higher Primary School in Someshwarapalya, was suspended allegedly due to pressure from Hinudtva RSS-VHP,Banjrang Dal and BJP groups for permitting Muslim students to offer prayers within school premises.
