Over 40% inmates found hooked on narcotics in Punjab jails

 Chandigarh, India July 18 : That drugs are easily available in prisons across Punjab has become more evident after a surprise screening of about 6,000 inmates in 11 jails found most of them hooked on one drug or the other in Indian state Punjab. The situation was alarming in jails as over 40 per cent of the inmates had enrolled themselves for de-addiction, reports Indian media. In Barnala district, 252 (45 per cent) of the screened 566 inmates had tested positive for drugs.

 Patna (Bihar)July 14 : : The Indian Police  has arrested two persons on a case against them in conspiracy to break India in Indian state Bihar. Three Including A Police Man Died in Mishaps

Srinagar, July 14: Three persons including a police man were killed in two different road accidents in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir. 
A police man was killed and another was injured in a road accident in Bijbehera area of Islamabad district.
Meanwhile, two non-Kashmiri residents identified as Vivek Sharma and Narinder Bakshi were killed and another non-Kashmiri identified as Jaskaran Singh was critically injured in a road accident at Panar on Mughal Road in Poonch district.

Security Tightened, Checking, Frisking In Srinagar

Srinagar, July 14 : Indian forces stepped up more tight security, checking  and frisking in Srinagar city in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir. The wake of attack at Lal Bazar in Srinagar on Tuesday evening, that killed an Assistant Sub-Inspector of Police and injured two others , the Indian troops, paramilitary and police personnel along with flying squads have been deployed in several areas of Srinagar, the officials said.

Srinagar, July 08: Indian troops in their fresh act of state terrorism, matyred one Kashmiri youth in Kupwara district in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.

Case filed against Karnataka Hindutva activist for his ‘terrorist’ remark

 Kolar ,July 8 : The Karnataka Police have filed a case against a member of a Hindutva organizations activist for making ‘terrorist’ remark against the Muslims. The case was lodged against State Coordinator of the Hindutvas Jagarana Vedike Keshavamurthy following a complaint by the President of Anjuman-E-Islamia Zameer Ahmad. The complaint has stated that Keshavamurthy had given defamatory statements against Muslims.
