Srinagar, August 15 :An injured Indian police man succumbed to his bullet injuries in a hospital in Srinagar in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir. The policeman was critically injured in an attack during cordon and search operation in Nowhatta area of the city on Sunday.
The injured cop was shifted to a hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries during treatment. The cordon and search operation was going on in Nowhatta and other areas of the city till last reports came in.
Earlier on Sunday a policeman was killed in a grenade attack in Kulgam district.
The Indian troops and paramilitary personnel also continued their violent cordon and search operation at Sujan Hill and other area of Rajouri district. The Indian troops on Indian Independence Day created havoc atmosphere in north, central and southern areas of the valley and in Muslim areas of Jammu region.
