Srinagar. April 14, 2011: An Indian trooper abducted and molested a girl of Doda district. A Territorial Army of 159-battalion has been detained for raping a girl at Marmat in the district. Acting on the complaint of the girl, resident of Marmat village in Doda police has detained Ashish Kumar, a soldier of 159 battalion of TA on Tuesday.
The victim has said that Ashish Kumar, of 159 battalion of TA, abducted her and later raped her. A case has also been registered against Kumar, the police said.
