Youngest of pellet victims says he will pick up AK-4700

Srinagar, July 20, 2016 :  A fifity one year-old bullet injured civilian, Ghulam Mohammad Mir, resident of Khumryal Lolab in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district succumbed to his injuries in SMHS Srinagar hospital on Wednesday. Ghulam Mohammad Mir was injured four days ago by a bullet fired by Indian forces on pretester. With the succuming of Mir, the death toll has gone up to 49 civilian including three femals and several teanage boys after protests erupted in the valley against the killing of  a prominennt Hizbul Mujahideen commander, Burhan Wani (22-year od ) on July 8.

July 20, 2016:  Three pellet injuried children identified as eight-year-old Asif Rashid of Khanbal; 13-year-old Arafat Shafi of Dantar and 14-year-old Wasiq Farooq of Dantar were critically injured after Indian forces used pellet gun at Khanabal in Islamabad on Tuesday evening Jul 19 2016:.
On July 10, 2016, men in uniform opened fire at Damhal Hanjipora in Kulgam district, killing 18-year-old Yasmeena.

Srinagar April 18, 2016: Use of brute force by Indian army, Central Reserve Plice Force, SPO, SOG and police in Kupwara district killed five civilians including a 65-years woman Raja Begua during the past six days but also caused grievous injuries to many youngsters.Indian troops opened fire on a mob and killed Mohammad Iqbal Peer, 20, of Burhama,d Nayeem Ahmad Bhat, 22, son of Gulam Qadir Bhat of Handwara and Raja Begum, 65-years of Langate  and injured dozens in Handwara town. .

Srinagar, March  30  : In Srinagar , the High court has quashed the illegal detention of three youth   who were detained under black law, Public Safety Act  (PSA)and directed Police to release them. Justice Rabistan Tashi while terming the detention of Raipora Palhallan youth, Nasir Ahmed Ganie, as illegal, quashed his PSA and directed police to release him.

Srinagar, March 19: Abid Ahmad Mir of Batengoo Anantnag who received pellet injury in Qaimoh Kulgam encounter few days before and #lost the eyesight of his one eye is son of a poor man .His father NISAR Ahmad Mir is a labourer and as such is not able to meet the expenses of his son's treatment .Kindly help for God's Sake .
