Srinagar,  November 16,2016: Indian Police arrested a  12th class student from Nowhatta in Srinagar when class 12th examinations started across Kashmir valley .
The arrested student has been identified as Abdul Waheed Dar son of Ghulam Mohammad Dar, a resident of Pandan Nowhatta. Police also has confirmed his arrest. A top cop in police station Nowhatta confirmed the arrest and claimed that Waheed was wanted in a case for his involvement in a pro-freedom protests.

Srinagar, November 7, 2016: A family from North Kashmir has been living in a rented house in Bandipora after as per the family; an Indian Army unit from 13 Rashtirya Rifles forcibly occupied their residential house in 2006, located in Argam  of Bandipore district. “It was March 4, 2006, when Indian Army personnel forcibly entered into my house and occupied it and since then all my efforts to retrieve the house have proved futile as neither authorities nor the India Army is ready to help me.

Srinagar, November 7, 2016: Indian police  booked 45 people including a 14-year boy Tajamul Rasool Mir  and Nazir Ahmad Rather under draconain law, Public Safety Act (PSA) in Bandipore district, Tajamul Rasool Mir, 14, and Nazir Ahmad Rather were shifted to Kotbalwal jail in Jammu on charges of organizing pro-freedom and anti-India rallies .

Srinagar, Oct 15 2016 :  In Baramulla for organising right to self determination rallies, authorities have arrested a 78-year old retired government official, Ghulam Mustafa Wani from Friends Colony Kanlibagh in Baramulla under black law Public Safety Act.  Mustafa, suffering from various ailments like heart, kidney, thyroid, prostate and disk problems is originally a resident of Kohistan Colony Safapora Sonawari. He along with his family was forced to migrate from the area after notorious government and Indian army sponsored gunmen (Ikhwanis) unleashed terror on the family.
