Ailing 78-year old Ghulam Mustafa Wani, Muslim League District President Pulwama Abdul Rashid Dar Kolpuri and Hilal Ahmed Itoo, a youth from Rohmu Pulwam booked under black law Public Safety Act in IOK

Srinagar, Oct 15 2016 :  In Baramulla for organising right to self determination rallies, authorities have arrested a 78-year old retired government official, Ghulam Mustafa Wani from Friends Colony Kanlibagh in Baramulla under black law Public Safety Act.  Mustafa, suffering from various ailments like heart, kidney, thyroid, prostate and disk problems is originally a resident of Kohistan Colony Safapora Sonawari. He along with his family was forced to migrate from the area after notorious government and Indian army sponsored gunmen (Ikhwanis) unleashed terror on the family. The two sons of Mustafa were kidnapped and tortured at several occasions by the Indian armys terror armed group Ikhwanis for his staunch support to Jama’at-e-Islami.
Muslim League District President Pulwama Abdul Rashid Dar Kolpuri booked under draconian law, Public Safety Act  and was shifted to Kathua Jail in Jammu.  Muslim League District President Pulwama Abdul Rashid Dar Kolpuri was arrested by police on 5 October. 
The family  told media men that Kolpuri was languishing in police station from past 10 days. “On Friday we came to know through a local police constable that he has been booked under PSA and shifted to Kathua Jail.”
Meanwhile, Hilal Ahmed Itoo, a youth from Rohmu Pulwama was also booked under  Public Safety Act   and  was also shifted to Kathua Jail Jammu. He was arrested during a night raid on 12 October. Confirming the detention of Kolpuri and Itoo, a police official said that they were involved in the pro freedom rallies
