IIOJK Cong stages protest against delimitation commission in Jammu

 JAMMU, April 4: Jammu and Kashmir Congress  has staged a protest against delimitation commission  in Jammu, in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and KashmirCarrying placards and shouting slogans, the Congress activists led by J&K Pradesh Congress Committee president G A Mir and other senior party leaders including former ministers and legislators assembled outside their party headquarters at Shaheedi Chowk in the heart of Jammu and staged a sit-in against the delimitation commission. They urged the visiting delimitation commission  team to provide sufficient time to the party so that it can highlight the “irregularities” in its draft report in a proper way. 

Journalists assaulted by Hindutva mob in Delhi

 New Delhi, April 4 : Several journalists were assaulted by the Hindutva mob that went to cover Hindu Mahapanchayat being held in Delhi’s Burari ground.  Meer Faisal, a journalist based in Delhi, said that he along with others were attacked when they went to cover the event. 

Curfew imposed during communal clashes in Rajasthan, Hindutva terrorists set fire houses of Muslims

 Jaipure (Rajasthan) :  April 4 Curfew was imposed in after communal tensions broke out in the Indian state Rajasthan’s Karauli city.  The tensions broke out after Hindu groups took out a bike rally to celebrate the Hindu New Year through a Muslim locality in the city. During the procession, Hindutva songs inciting violence against Muslims were played on speakers. 

Two villagers shot at by Indian army in Arunachal's Tirap district

 Itanagar/Dibrugarh, April 4 : Two civilians were shot at and injured by the Indian Army in Indian state Arunachal Pradesh state. The incident happened when the two villagers, identified as Nokphya Wangdan (28) and Ramwang Wangsu (23), were returning home after fishing in a river, were shot at and injured by  the  Indian army at Chasa village in Tirap district of the state.

‘Pick up weapons’: narsinghanand gives another hate speech in Delhi

 New Dehli, April 4 : The HIndutva priest   Yati Narsinghanand, in his  provocative speech has reiterated the call for use of weapons against Muslims in Indian capital city New Delhi. Yati Narsinghanand, who is out on bail in a case of Haridwar hate speeches made another hate speech at a Hindu Panchayat in Burari, in Indian national capital Delhi northeast .  In Hindu Mahapanchayat organized  in Delhi by Jantar Mantar accused Preet Singh, Yati Narsinghanand asked Hindus to pick weapons.

22 Houses, 7 shops gutted in Srinagar

Srinagar, March 31 : Twenty-two houses were gutted in a devastating midnight blaze in Srinagar city, in  Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir. Massive property was damaged and four persons including a firefighter were injured in a massive blaze at  Gata- Colony Noor Bagh area of the city.“Twenty-two houses in which 33 families were residing gutted in the massive blaze,” a fire-service official said adding that besides a firefighter, three individuals were injured in the incident.

Indian troops martyr four youth including a journalist in Srinagar, Baramulla

Srinagar, March 30: Indian troops martyred  four  people  including a young journalist in Srinagar city, today, in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir. The youth including a journalist Rayees Ahmad Bhat were martyred by Indian troops and paramilitary forces during a cordon and search operation at Rainawari area of the city.The young journalist was running online news portal ‘Valley News Service.’ The operation was going on till last reports came in. 

Indian Allahabad Court orders release of 3 Kashmir students

Allahabad, March 30, 2022 : The Allahabad court in Indian state Uttar Pradesh  has directed the Police to release the three Kashmiri students arrested over the charges of sedition from an engineering college in Agra on October 27 , 2022. 

Prominent Indian journalist Rana Ayyub stops from flying abroad

Mumbai, March 30: Indian authorities stopped prominent Journalist Rana Ayyub at the Mumbai international airport from flying abroad. The prominent Journalist Rana Ayyub was on Tuesday stopped by authorities at the Mumbai international airport from flying abroad in the wake of a “look out circular” issued by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) against her, officials said. 

Man booked under arms act in Jammu

 
Jammu, March  29 : The Indian  police have arrested a man and booked him under relevant section of Arms Act in Jammu district in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir. A police official said that that a police team arrested a person during Naka in police naka in  Channi Himmat area of the district .
