Torture on teachers by Indian forces sparks protests in Bandipora, massive cordon and search operations in dozens of areas of Shopian

Srinagar, January 02 , 2018: People staged protests against the beating up of teachers by Indian troops inside a government-run school  in Hajin area of Bandipora district. The troops barged into a a government-run coaching centre and thrashed the staff including the headmaster. As the news spread, anti-India protests erupted on the streets followed by shutdown in the town.
