Srinagar, January 18 ,2017: People held a protest against the rape and murder of an 8-year-old young girl in Kathua district of Jammu region. The girl Asifa Bano, who had gone missing a week ago, was found dead under mysterious circumstances in Hiranagar tehsil of Hindu-dominated district.

Srinagar, January 02 , 2018: People staged protests against the beating up of teachers by Indian troops inside a government-run school  in Hajin area of Bandipora district. The troops barged into a a government-run coaching centre and thrashed the staff including the headmaster. As the news spread, anti-India protests erupted on the streets followed by shutdown in the town.

Then the labourer started dreaming about reconstructing his home but cops fired pellets reducing him literally crippled to the extent that the family is fighting hunger, reports Saqib Mir Mushtaq-Ahmad-Nath, the pellet hit victim who was fighting to rebuild his flood devastated home. Now lives in a tin shed.
