Srinagar, Nov 4, 2019: A  40- year-old toy seller was killed and 45 othersincluding 10 women  were injured in a grenade explosion rocked the busy Hari Singh High street (HSHS) near city Centre Lal Chowk in Sriangar on Monday. Eye witnesses told media men  the blast occurred at 1.20 pm IST when the market was crowded with shoppers and vendors.  More than 42 people received splinter injuries in the incident. They were rushed to the SMHS hospital in Srinagar where an Indian citizen  40-year- old toy seller Rinku Kumar of Saharanpur, Uttar Pradesh India, succumbed to his injuries.

Srinagar, Nov 5, 2019:  Indian troops during continued cordon and search operation arrested a youth in Kishtwar town. Indian forces of 26 Rashtriya Rifles and Army Intelligence Unit during operation barged in to the house arrested Asif Mustufa son of Asif Mustufa and damaged house at Sangrambat area of the town.
It is pertinent to mention that Indian police has booked over two dozen youth under fake cases and handed over them for more interrogation to the Indian agency NIA .

Srinagar, November 1, 2019: Several people were thrashed and injured including a lady when Indian police fired tear gas shells to disperse them in Srinagar. Indian forces thrashed some photo journalists as well, who had gone there to cover the situation.

Srinagar 2, 2019: Three persons including a woman were killed in a tragic road accident, near Pattan town of North Kashmir district Baramulla on Saturday.

  New Delhi, October 20, 2019: A documentary titled ‘Forced labour under the largest democracy’ was released during an event in New Delhi. The director of the film, Shafkat Raina briefed the audience about the nature of forced labour that was conducted by the Indian troops in Kashmir during the ’90s. He also informed the audience about the circumstances and the negative effects that this forced labour had on the psyche and life of the Kashmiri victims. He said the forced labour is still prevalent in many areas of Kashmir including Pulwama district wherein Indian troops confiscate the vehicles from the drivers and later use them for encounters and night raids.
