 KOLAR, KARNATAKA, India, Jan 30 : The Education Department in south Indian state Karnataka suspended a teacher on charges of letting students perform namaz (prayer) inside the school premises in Kolar district of Karnatka  south Indian sate.  S.M. Umadevi, in-charge head mistress of the Balechengappa Kannada Model Higher Primary School in Someshwarapalya, was suspended allegedly due to pressure from Hinudtva RSS-VHP,Banjrang Dal and BJP groups for permitting Muslim students to offer prayers within school premises.

Patna, Bihar India, January30 :The Authorities have reinstated a muslim school teacher who was suspended on 8 August 2021 after he was seen selling sacks in a sarcastic manner, in a video clip that had gone viral on social media in Bihar state of India. s Katihar. The teacher identified as Muhammad Tamizuddin, was seen selling sacks and taking a jibe at the state administration. He said he had decided to sell sacks as Satish Chandra Jha, director of the Mid Day Meal initiative, had issued an order directing administrators of government-run schools to sell the empty sacks, in which rice was made available under the Mid Day Meal scheme, for Rs. 10 per piece and deposit the money to the concerned [local] office.

 Ratlam, MP India, January30: A Muslim man was thrashed by a Hindutva group for urinating in front of a cow in Madhya Pradesh in India.The Hihndutva terrorist  Virendra Rathod was caught on video beating up and abusing a  Muslim person for allegedly urinating in front of at Manak Chowk in Ratlam district of the state. 

 Srinagar, Jan 28, 2022 :Indian troops launched massive cordon and search operations (CASOs) in Srinagar and Kulgam  districts in IIOJK.The operations were conducted by Indian Rashtriya Rilfes,Central Reserve Police Force and dreaded Special Opertion Group in Batamaloo, Kakran Pombay and Katrasoo, and other areas of the districts. The search operations were going on when last reports came in. 

 NEW DELHI, January 28, 2022:In a shocking incident, a woman was gang raped  and allegedly attacked by a group of people, including women, who chopped off her hair, tore her clothes, blackened her face, and then paraded her in Indian capital city New Delhi. The  sexually assault on woman incident took place in the Shahdara area of the city.  

Srinagar, January 27 :“The Press Club was like a home for us and we feel we have been expelled from it,” said a young female freelancer who is about to quit their profession in Kashmir valley after Indian authorities take over the only press club building. First-person account of two young female freelancers  Kounsar Bashir & Mubashir Naik who decided to quit the profession after authorities laid siege to the Kashmir Press Club in Srinagar, in IIOJK. On 15 January, like most of the days, after having my breakfast, I went out for a shoot and post completion of my work, I, along with my colleague, went to Press Club Srinagar (as we don’t have any office). The Kashmir Press Club (KPC) was the only place where we would go after doing our fieldwork to discuss it with our seniors, said a Kashmiri jounalist.

 NEW DELHI ,January 27: The Association for Protection of Civil Rights (APCR) has said that  India is witnessed severe rights abusesa against minorities induced by systematic hatered in India. The press conference was organised by Association for Protection of Civil Rights (APCR), a human rights group that monitors and documents violence against religious minorities  was attended by Religious leaders from Muslim, Christian and Buddhist communities and other social activists at Pink City School of Jaipur city in Indian state Rajistan.

 New York, January 27: The Members of the global Indian diaspora and citizens in many countries have voiced concern over the persecution of 18 students and activists under a draconian law for challenging the Citizenship Amendment Act 2019 (CAA) and sought immediate and unconditional withdrawal of all charges against them. The wide-ranging global actors in a statement said they “believe the ‘Delhi 18’ are being targeted as reprisal for their democratic dissent against the Citizenship Amendment Act 2019.” The representatives of diaspora groups South Africa, Australia, Canada, USA, UK, Germany, Netherlands and New Zealand also denounced unjust prosecution of the Delhi 18. The statement said their demand is the immediate and unconditional withdrawal of all charges, including Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA), against the Delhi 18 - a reference to 18 students and activists.

 NEW DELHI ,January 27:  The South Asia State of Minorities Report 2021 has blamed Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leaders, including indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah, besides the media, for the hate campaigns against minorities, especially Muslims in India. The South Asia State of Minorities Report 2021 also highlighted the role of media in spreading “a barrage of sensationalised, pro-BJP and often anti-minority content on the national airwaves, marked by hyperbole and, in many instances, outright misinformation”. South Asia Collective, a joint group of South Asian human rights organizations and activists, have come up with a report on hate speeches made against minorities in India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Afghanistan, Nepal and Srilanka.
