BJP worker shot dead in Delhi's Mayur Vihar

 New Delhi, April 21: A district-level BJP worker Jeetu Chaudhary was shot dead unknown assailants in Indian capital city New Delhi. The BJP worker was killed by unknown persons at Mayur Vihar phase-3 area of the city, DCP East Priyanka Kashyap said.A few empty cartridges and other important evidence have been recovered, the Delhi police officer added.

Assam police arrest prominent Dalit leader MLA Jignesh Mevani over tweet in Gujarat

 Ahmadabad, April 21 : The Assam police arrested prominent Dalit leader and Congress MLA Jignesh Mevani in Indian state Gujarat. The  Assam Police  arrested the  prominent Dalit leader  in Palanpur town  of the state over a tweet and taken to Assam by air in the early hours, officials said.

IAMC condemns Hindutva Extremist Violence in India During Ramadan

WASHINGTON, DC April 20 :The Indian American Muslim Council (IAMC) has condemned the violence unleashed by Hindutva extremists against Muslims across several Indian states during the holy month of Ramadan. Indian American Muslim Council in a statement called on the US State Department to ask the Indian government to stop stoking the anti-Muslim sentiment and punish the  Hindutva Hindu extremists involved in the violence. 

Non-Kashmiri couple injured in mysterious blast in Rajouri

Jammu, April  20: A non-Kashmiri couple was injured in a mysterious explosion in Rajouri  district in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir. 
The couple from Indian state UP, India have been removed to hospital after the blast which took place at Jaglanoo area of the district. SSP Rajouri Mohammad Aalam Choudhary confirmed the blast and said investigation are going on.

Indian youth dies in police custody in Indian city Jind, Haryana

 Hisar,  April 20 : Indian police killed a civilian in  custody in Indian state Haryana. The youth identified as Pappi, 30, was arrested in a case registered under the NDPS Act, died at jail in Julana town of the state.

Women’s wing leader of Samajwadi Party leader booked in Aligarh

 Aligarh, April 20:  The women’s wing leader of Samajwadi Party (SP), Rubina Khan, was booked after she said that if Hindu activists recite Hanuman Chalisa at 21 crossing points in the Aligarh, as announced earlier, Muslim women would read the Quran in front of temples. A case has been registered against Rubina Khan at the Civil Lines police station for making such statement. 

Muslims Fled Roorkee Village

Uttarakhand, India , April 20– Muslims in a Roorkee in Indian state Uttarakhand had to flee their homes after authorities moved bulldozers in their locality with a threat to raze their houses if they did not surrender before police for arrest. More than half of the Muslim population of the village has left the village due to fear and terror of the BJP RSS government, News agency reported. Those Muslims who are still left behind in the village either live alone or those whose family members have been arrested. Indian police are arresting Muslims on fake charges on BJP-RSS hindutva pressure .

Covid spurs depression, anxiety among teenagers in Kashmir valley: study

Srinagar,April 19: Besides resulting in large scale deaths, Covid pandemic has spurred mental health issues among adolescents in the Kashmir valley, in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir,.The study conducted by four doctors of Government Medical College Srinagar aimed at assessing prevalence of depression and anxiety and its determinants among school-going adolescents in the Valley has found 16 percent children depressed and 20 percent suffering from anxiety.Dr Ruqia Quansar said that the Patient Health Questionnaire for Adolescents and Generalised Anxiety Disorder questionnaire were used to screen for depression and anxiety among school-going adolescents aged between 15 and 19 years in January and February 2021. Of the 439 adolescents who had responded, 426 (97.03%) were included in the final analysis, she said, adding the adolescents had a mean age of 15-19 years and comprised 57% males.

INDIAN TROOPS LAUNCH CASO IN SHOPIAN

Srinagar,April 19: Indian troops launched massive cordon and search operation in Shopian district, today, in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.The troops launched cordon and search operation after   a paramilitary guard was attacked   at Herpora Batagund area of the district. A top police officer talking to   media men claimed that militants fired upon minority guard from a distance, which was retaliated by gaurds.In this incident no loss of life or injury was reported.
