Kashmiri delegation holds protest in Geneva against Indian atrocities in IIOJK

Geneva, June 27 : A Kashmiri delegation staged a strong protest in front of the United Nations office in Geneva, denouncing India’s illegal occupation and systematic human rights violations in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
The protest was held on the sidelines of the 59th Session of the UN Human Rights Council and was attended by hundreds of demonstrators, including human rights activists, academics, Hurriyat leaders, and members of the Kashmiri diaspora. Holding banners and placards inscribed with slogans such as “Free Kashmir” and “Stop the systematic violence and bloodbath of innocent civilians in Kashmir”, the protestors called for urgent UN intervention to halt the atrocities and hold the Indian government accountable for war crimes and human rights abuses in Indian occupied Kashmir.

 Srinagar, June 11, 2025: Indian BJP regime continues to confiscate the Kashmiris’ lands and properties and in the latest case its LG administration attached agricultural land of a Kashmiri in Banihal district of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.  Indian police personnel   under Indian Home Ministry and LG has attached property include land measuring 1 Kanal and one  Marla land of Mohammad Saleem in Takia Tethar area of the district under the draconian Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA).

APHC calls for protest strike on Friday against Waqf Act, outsiders

 Srinagar, April 22 : The All Parties Hurriyat Conference has called on people of Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir  to observe a strike on Friday (25 April)  against Waqf Amendment Act 2025 and issuance of domicile certificates to outsiders in the territory. APHC spokesman Advocate Abdul Rashid Minhas in a statement issued in Srinagar expressed serious concern over the passage of anti-Muslim bill from Indian parliament and issuance of lakhs of domicile certificates to the non-Kashmir in occupied Kashmir. He called it the violations of the international laws and against the Kashmiris identity.
 

IIOJK transporters await over Rs 200 crore due for Amarnath Yatra duty

 Srinagar, April 22 : Kashmir Transporters in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, who had deployed thousands of vehicles for security purposes during the 2024 Amarnath Yatra have complained of unpaid dues amounting to over Rs 200 crore despite assurances that all payments would be made within 15 days of the yatra’s conclusion.The transporters urged the authorities to clear their long-pending payments as they were under severe financial distress.

With no transport, no shelter and no food, the authorities are paying no heed to rescue the stranded passengers. 

RSS organises weapons training camp on Kerala college premises

Thiruvananthapuram, April 22 : A weapons training camp conducted by the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) on the premises of Mar Ivanios College in capital city of the southern state of Kerala has triggered widespread protests from student bodies, who have raised strong objections to the use of an educational institution for “unconstitutional and dangerous activity.” 
According to Kashmir Media Service, the RSS, a Hindu paramilitary organisation affiliated with the broader Sangh Parivar, held the camp in preparation for a scheduled officers’ training event on 2 May. Footage this week shows men engaged in weapon drills on the college ground, sparking public criticism and demands for accountability.

Hindutva outfits Bajrang Dal, VHP disrupt Easter Celebrations in Gujarat

Ahmadabad, April 22 : Hindutva  outfits Bajrang Dal and Vishva Hindu Parishad (VHP) members disrupted Christian community’s Easter celebrations in Odhav area of Ahmedabad city, Gujarat, India.  A video of the Hindutva activists wielding sticks and chanting ‘Jai Shri Ram’ slogans surfaced on social media.
Around 100 members of the Christian community, including children, were present at the event when the disruption occurred. Instead of taking action against culprits, police took representatives from the Christian community to the station.

APHC slams Indian minister's misleading statement on Kashmir

 Srinagar, March 11: The All Parties Hurriyat Conference has condemned statements by Indian Defence Minister Rajnath Singh while hiding the real situation of IIOJK  is  diverting attention from the harsh realities of India's occupation of the territory. APHC spokesperson Advocate Abdul Rashid Minhas, in a statement issued in Srinagar, criticized the Indian government’s attempts to portray the volatile situation in the territory as normal through high-profile visits and propagandas. 

Drug addiction crisis deepens as 2 millions battling heroin epidemic in IIOJK

 Srinagar, March 11 : Around two million people out of the 12 million population in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir are battling heroin addiction, a crisis largely attributed to India’s brutal occupation of the territory.A report by Al Jazeera has highlighted the devastating impact of drug addiction on the youth in occupied Jammu and Kashmir, surpassing even Indian Punjab.

According to Kashmir Media Service, the Indian Ministry of Home Affairs headed by Amit Shah issued two separate notifications, banning these political organizations on the charges of supporting the demand of right to self determination and freedom from Indian bondage.
 
The notification said that the AAC if not banned would continue advocating freedom of Jammu and Kashmir from India, propagate anti-India and pro-freedom sentiments and intensify the ongoing freedom struggle in occupied Kashmir.
