Indian govt moves two BSF battalions from Odisha to Jammu

 New Delhi, July 27): The Indian government has ordered the extraction of two Border Security Force (BSF) battalions, comprising more than 2,000 personnel, from Odisha to beef up restrictions in the Jammu region along the India-Pakistan border.

BJP working on sinister agenda to muzzle Kashmiris' political Demands

The Indian BJP government and its military and police establishment are using every brutal tactic to muzzle the peaceful and freedom voice of the people in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir. However, the Kashmiris are determined to defeat every Indian Hindutva anti-Kashmir design and carry on their true demand of Azaadi (freedom) against all odds.
 
The Indian BJP regime, while propagating the notion that Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir is now peaceful and stable following the revocation of its special status, is contrary to the reality on the ground. The Kashmiris term this campaign as just a facade. The Indian forces have intensified restrictions, cordon and search operations, and raids in the occupied territory in the name of security during the fraudulent Indian parliament elections in April-May this year.

Hindutva Forces involved in Violence in Telangana: Rights Group

 Hyderabad, March 30 : The Human Rights Forum (HRF) has said that Hindutva forces of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS)  are involved in violence in Telangana state in India. The fact-finding report released by the Human Rights Forum (HRF) has revealed that an altercation started when RSS workers blasted Hindutva-Pop or H-Pop songs on loudspeakers near a mosque during the noon prayers in Pittalabasthi, Chengicherla hamlet of Telangana.

Pro-Khalistan graffiti ‘Delhi Banega Khalistan’ found on metro station pillar in Delhi

 New Delhi, March 30:  Pro-Khalistan graffiti was found on a pillar of Punjabi Bagh metro station in west Delhi city in India . The pro-Khalistan was found written on the pillar with black paint which revealed ‘Delhi Banega Khalistan’ on Thursday. The graffiti had been painted over in yellow, an Indian police officer said. An FIR has been registered, the police said.  

Woman Beaten Black and Blue, naked in Madhya Pradesh

 Bhopal, March 30: A 30-year-old woman of the Scheduled Caste community was humiliated by stripping her naked in public in Madhya Pradesh state in India.  The 30-year-old woman of the Scheduled Caste community humiliated and naked her in public  by the same caste in Bachhora, a medium-sized village located in Pohri Tehsil of Shivpuri district of the state.

India extends black law AFSPA in Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland for 6 more months

 New Delhi/Kohima/Itanagar, March 29 :  The Indian Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) has extended the black law,  Armed Forces (Special Powers) Act (AFSPA) in disturbed Nagaland and Arunachal Pradesh  states in India for another six months with effect from April 1. 

CAA is an anti-people political tool: Says Socialist Party India

 New Delhi, March 29:  The Socialist Party India  (SPI) has  condemned the NRC-CAA project as an anti-people political tool that undermines the rights and citizenship of Indian citizens mostly the Muslim community in India.  Socialist Party (India) in a statement issued  in New Delhi has highlighted the persisting concerns regarding destabilisation of the Northeast region and the discriminatory impact on Muslim citizens has urged  all Indians to unite in protest against the newly proposed amendment rules.

Several dead as cab plunges into gorge on Jammu-Srinagar highway

Srinagar, March 29:  At least  ten people were dead  in a road accident on Srinagar - Jammu  highway in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.At least ten people died after a passenger vehicle en route to Srinagar from Jammu veered off the road and plunged into a deep gorge near Battery Cheshma in the Ramban area along the Jammu-Srinagar  highway. 

US Religious Freedom Body Expresses Concerns over CAA Rules in India

New Delhi, March 26: The U.S. Commission on International Religious Freedom (USCIRF) expressing concern over the Indian BJP Government’s notification of rules to implement the Citizenship (Amendment) Act (CAA), has saidthat no one should be denied citizenship based on religion or belief.

 SRINAGAR, March 23): In the heart of Srinagar’s Miskeen Bagh, tragedy unfolded on a fateful evening in  May,1996, casting a long shadow of injustice over the lives of Muhammad Ramzan Bhat’s family. Ramzan, a humble shopkeeper, who doubled up as a daily wager, and the sole provider for his household, was forcibly detained by the dreaed personnel of the Special Operations Group (SOG), tortured and  killed in custody, and wrongly passed off as a militant killed in a gun-battle.
