Woman found hanging, two killed in mishap,Girl kidnapped during marriage function in Kulgam

Srinagar, November 04, 2020: A woman was found hanging in her house at Chatha in Jammu on Tuesday in Indian Illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir .As per details, Rajni Devi, wife of Kuldeep Raj, resident of Barjala was found hanging in her room. She was shifted to hospital where doctors declared her as brought dead. Later, her maternal parents staged a protest against her in-laws. Police is investigating the matter.
TWO KILLED IN IIOJK MISHAP
Srinagar, November 4 : two persons died and another injured in a road accident in Srinagar-Jammu highway.
the accident took place when a car was on way from Udhampur to Ramban hit the Gate of Chennani Nashri Tunnel resulting in death of 2 person’s  Bittu Sharma and  Sudesh Panditon spot and injuring one person Ganesh Gotam . 
On the other hand , a BJP worker Nitish Sharma was abducted by unknown persons in Budgam area of central Kashmir.
Meanwhile, massive fire has broke out at multiple locations in Lolab forest area of Kupwara district on Tuesday. A major part of the forest area including vegetation razed to ashes, the local eyewitness  told media men. The fire is gradually spreading to other parts of the forest area and damaged the green gold to a great extent.  
Girl kidnapped during marriage function in Kulgam
 November 3, 2020 Locals in a Southern village of Kulgam Kashmir staged a massive protest demanding stringent punishment for those who are responsible for alleged kidnapping and sexual assault of a girl.
Eyewitnesses told news agency KNT that a police party led by local Station House Officer Davindar Singh rushed to spot to pacify protesters at Poniwah village who had blocked Kulgam-Yaripora against the alleged sexual abuse incident that occurred at village Akhal of the same district on 31 October last month.
“The victim, a resident of Poniwah village had gone to Akhal hamlet to attend a wedding ceremony that took place in the house of one Sabzar Parray. Two youth from Ashmuji village kidnapped and raped her in a dense orchard. The girl was found in semi-unconscious state and was shifted to hospital where from she was referred to Srinagar hospital for treatment,” the protest said.
They identified the accused as Adil Dar and Wasim Dar. The accused had arrived in the village as guests.
The protesters said that the girl is battling for life and demanded stern punishment for the accused. Police assured them of action and informed them that the accused have already been taken into custody.
A police officer while divulging information about the incident told KNT that Police Station Devsar received a written complaint for assistance from complainant that his sister (name withheld) had been kidnapped by two persons namely Aadil Ahmad Dar and Waseem Rehman Dar both residents of Ashmuji Kulgam from Akhal and took her to nearby dense orchards and tried to rape her and also outraged her modesty.
“In the meantime the victim girl was brought by her cousin brother to police Station Devsar in unconscious state and injured condition. The girl was instantly taken to hospital for treatment and medical examination.”
“Taking cognizance of the incident a team headed by SHO Devsar under the supervision of DSP Headquarter’s Kulgam was constituted to nab the accused. Utilizing all available means, with strenuous efforts specific information was generated by the investigating team which led to arrest of accused within three hours after complaint was received.”
“Regarding the incident, case vide FIR number 116/2020 U/S 341, 366, 376/511, 354, 323 stands registered in Police Station Devsar and further investigation is in progress.
Shopian family emerges in Srinagar along with dead body, says man was killed by goons

South Kashmir’s Shopian family Wednesday morning emerged in Press Enclave Srinagar along with the dead body of a man who died yesterday during land acquisition drive in Hermain village.
The family said that the man didn’t die of cardiac arrest but was assaulted by some goons on the behest of civilian officials.
Pertinently, during a stone-pelting incident an elderly man reportedly died yesterday on spot in South Kashmir’s Shopian district. An official had claimed the man died due to heart attack.  
Some locals including females resorted to stone-pelting on a land acquisition team in Hermain village of South Kashmir’s Shopian district. The team led by Tehsildar Hermain, Block Development Officer Hermain had arrived in the village to take possession of land that is supposed to converted into a sports ground.
The locals and authorities men clashed with protesters during which an elderly man suffered a “heart attack” and he died on spot. He was identified as 65 year old Abdul Salam Thokar, a resident of Padderpora Shopian.
However, the family of the deceased arrived at Press Colony Srinagar along with the dead body. They told News Agency KNT that even after the death of the man, police didn’t file an FIR.
“We won’t bury the dead till action is initiated against those responsible for his death. He was a a driver by profession and killed by goons,” they said. 
“We had a land dispute with another party. Over a dozen people arrived yesterday to occupy the said land. He was manhandled by goons as a result he died,” they siad.
