Kashmiri driver assaulted by unknown goons in Udhampur, 3 including a woman arrested in Kashmir valley

Srinagar, February 22 :  A Kashmiri  truck driver was  assaulted by unidentified goons in the Udhampur district in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir. A driver identified as Mohammed Ishaq Kholi was assaulted by goons for unknown reasons in the Mansar area of the district.The goons who were in a four-wheeler stopped their vehicle and stopped Ishaq’s vehicle that was on the way from Jammu-Srinagar and forced Ishaq to get out of the truck. “Before Ishaq could even say a word, they hit his head with a bottle of alcohol they were drinking and later assaulted him, his brother told media men. 

 
Ishaq was rescued by other Kashmiri drivers only after the attackers had escaped from the spot. “He has received injuries on his head and is being taken to the hospital,” his brother added.
 
Meanwhile, several Kashmiri drivers have reached the spot and  held protest against the culprits and demanded immediate action
Person commits suicide, body found hanging  on tree in Surenkote Poonch.
 
Surankote Feb,22: Body of   Farooq Ahmed son of Satar  Din Shaikh of Sunia Poonch was found hanged to a tree in Sunai Surankote in Poonch in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
 
Locals found the body of one Farooq Ahmad son of Satar Din Sheikh, a resident of Sanai Surankot hanging from a tree following which they informed the police.
 
“A police team reached the site to gather necessary details”, an official further said
 
School building damaged in mysterious fire Incident in Lolab
 
Srinagar, February 22 : A private school building was damaged in a mysterious fire incident in Dardpora Lolab area in Kupwara district of the occupied Kashmir.
 
The building of ‘Al-Falah Public School’ caught fire this morning. The reports said this is an act of Indian agencies against the Private schools .
The fire was brought under control after persistent efforts by by locals.
 
Confirming it, a police official told media that the school building has got partially damaged in the incident. “We have taken cognizance of the incident for further investigations”, the official further said. 
 
Youth shot dead in Jammu 
 
Jammu February 22 :  A youth was shot dead in Jammu city of Indian occupied Jammu and Kashmir .The youth identified as Arvind was killed  by Lakhanpal with his father’s 12 bore licensed weapon in Gharota area of the outskirts city.The  accused was  arrested by police. 
Meanwhile, throat slit  body of 40-year-old Shaban Ahmed Najar was found in  Kangan area of Ganderbal district.
 
Meanwhile,  Indian Home Ministry's contrlled State Investigation Agency arrested three including a woman during the ongoing raids and searches at different places across the Kashmir valley.
