Srinagar, May 24 : The Kashmir Journalist Fahad Shah detained under the black law, Public Safety Act was shifted to Jammu Jail from Kupwara sub jail in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
Fahad’s custody was taken over by the Kupwara jail authorities for the investigation registered by the SIA at the Joint Interrogation Centre, in Jammu, against an op-ed written by Abdul Aala Fazili in 2011.
Fahad was detained in the case in which a Kashmiri scholar, Aala Fazili has already been booked under the draconian law Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA).
Fahad Shah was shifted to Jammu jail by the orders of the State Investigation Agency (SIA) .
Shah was initially arrested by the Pulwama police on 4 February and a day before the bail hearing in this case, on 14 March, Shah was detained under the black law PSA and was lodged in the Kupwara Jail.
