Srinagar, Feb 15, 2020: Three Kashmiri engineering students were arrested on fake cases by Indian police in south Indian state Karnatka.
The three students from Kashmir, who were studying at an engineering college in Hubballi, were arrested on Saturday on charges of fake case and Indian police booked against them a sedition and , after a video in which they allegedly raised posted a video on Whatsapp with pro-azaadi slogans, The Week reported.
According to the report the students, who have been identified as Aamir, Taalib and Bashit, had recorded pro-azaadi slogans like “We want Azadi” and “Free Kashmir”.
The students have been detained at the Gokul road police station. Even as the students were being taken to the station with their faces covered in masks, the Indian Hindu communal outfit Bajrang Dal activists who had gathered tried to attack them.
