Srinagar, November 16, 2019: Indian Police arrested five persons in north Kashmir’s Sopore and Kupwara areas. Three persons arrested by police personnel during house raids identified as Hilal Ahmad, Sahil Nazir both residents of Brath-Kalan Sopore and Peerzada Mohammad Zahir resident of Check Brath Sopore were arrested.
Police claimed that Initial investigation into the matters reveals that these individuals were involved in publishing and circulation pro-freedom posters in Sopore area.. Further investigation in the matter is in progress, police further claimed. Relatives of the youth talking to media men while rejecting police claim said that they police will book them on fake cases and expressed serious concern on them.
Indian police personnel also arrested Ulfat Bashir Mir resident of Nowpora Jageer and Aijaz Ahmad Bhat resident of Darpora Bomai at Kupwara Byepass check point.
Meanwhile, the Indian enforcement directorate on Saturday attached land measuring 12 kanals of two Hibz Mujahideen commanders at Liver Pahalgam in Distri Islamabad ( Anantnag).
Reliable sources told Kashmir Despatch that a team of (ED) enforcement directorate raided the two houses of Ghulam Nabi Khan alais Aamir Khan and Zaffar Hussain Bhat both residents of Liver Pahalgam who are presently residing in Azad Jammu and Kashmir. agencies
