Bengaluru, October 17: The Indian state Karnataka’s police arrested Muslim in Bengaluru. A 26-year-old Syed Muyeen was arrested by Karnatka police on fake charge of forcing a Hindu girl to follow Islam who were both close friends and were to marry. Karnataka state is ruled by Hindutva BJP-RSS government.
Muyeen was in love with a 18-year-old girl, a native of Gorakhpur in Indian state Uttar Pradesh living with her family in the silicon valley.
The girl had gone to a mosque and got converted to Islam.
The girl’s father, a painter by profession, and her mother were suspicious about the movements of their daughter and had asked her not to make a hasty decision.
The parents of the girl who were BJP-RSS members had lodged a case under the Anti-Conversion law in Yeshwanthpur police station in Bengaluru against the Muslim boy.
The police arrested the Muslim youth for alleged forceful religious conversion of the girl.
