Indian forces arrest five youth in Kishtwar, father & daughter in Pulwama
Srinagar, Mar 3, 2020: Indian forces and police personnel, today,
arrested five Kashmiri youth Kishtwar district for support to ongoing freedom struggle of Jammu and Kashmir.Arrests were made during searches conducted by police in Marwah area and the arrested were identified as Ghulam Hussain son of Mohammad Ramzan, Mohammad Yaseen son of Ghulam Ali, Zakir Hussain son of Farooq Hussain, Mohammad Iqbal son of Habibullah and Bashir Ahmed son of Mohammad Ramzan, all residents of Marwah.
The Indian National Investigation Agency (NIA), , today arrested a father-daughter duo for allegedly helping and giving shelter to Kashmir youth struggling for freedom from India.
Those arrested have been identified as Tariq Shah, 50, and his daughter Insha Jan, 23, of Hakripora village in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district. “In the continuing investigation of the Pulwama attack, NIA today arrested two more accused,” the NIA aid in a statement claimed.
On February 14, 2019, 40 Indian CRPF men were killed and several injured after their convoy was struck by an IED-laden vehicle as per Indian army claims driven by Adil Ahmed Dar, a loal suicide bomber, at Lethpora Pulwama.
Indian forces including police arrested six boys including five minors, hailing from Budgam district , a police spokesperson said today.
The boys are from Narbal and Magam areas of the district.
Meanwhile, the High Court Srinagar has quashed the detention of three people including the Spokesman of the Jamaat-e-Islami, Zahid Ali, under the draconian law, Public Safety Act (PSA).
Besides Zahid Ali, the detention of Jamaat-e-Islami district Bandipora President Sikander Malik and Samir Wani was also quashed. The order was passed by Justice Rashi Rabstan. They were arrested by Indian police in August last year.
