Indian Army personnel commit suicide at DRDO facility in Odisha, India

Kendrapara (Odisha, India), March 3:  An Indian army personnel committed suicide by shooting himself dead with his service rifle in Odisha state in India.  A 35-year-old Indian army man allegedly shot himself dead with his service rifle at DRDO's Radar Observatory Air Surveillance unit in Odisha's Kendrapara district, Indian police said on Sunday. 

The incident took place when the army man, identified as Sepoy Raj Sekharan, a native of Tamil Nadu state was on duty at the facility of the Indian Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) at Kiyarbanka village in Mahakalpada police station area on Sunday.
He was found lying in a pool of blood and was rushed to a nearby government-run hospital, where he was declared brought dead, an Indian police officer said. agencies
