Srinagar, March 14:The India’s notorious National Investigation Agency along with the personnel of Indian Army, police and Central Reserve Police Force, today, conducted raids at multiple places in the Kashmir valley including Srinagar in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
The NIA sleuths carried out raids in Srinagar, Pulwama, Shopian, Kulgam and Islamabad districts, thoroughly searched houses and offices of pro-freedom people and seized identity and travel documents, mobile phones, laptops, house registries and land allotment documents. Among those whose houses were raided include Juanid Ahmad, Zeeshan Altaf, Altaf Ahmad Wagay, Farooq Ahmad Dar, Ashraf Ahmad Sheikh, Ubaid Ahmad, Ghulam Mohammad Butt and Abdul Kabir Dar in different areas of the Valley. Indian police arrested an innocent youth in Sopore town of Baramulla district.
India’s agency National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Tuesday conducted searches at multiple locations in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir including summer capital Srinagar in cases related to pro-freedom activities.
The NIA sleuths accompanied by the personnel of Indian police and Central Reserve Police Force carried out raids in Srinagar, Pulwama, Shopian, Kulgam and Islamabad districts of the Kashmir Valley.
In Srinagar, the NIA team raided the residence of Juanid Ahmad Teli in Soura and thoroughly searched it. As per reports, the team seized a cell phone.
In Pulwama, houses of Zeeshan Altaf, in Nillora and Arif Malik in litter were frisked by the agency.
Similarly, in Kulgam the NIA raided the residence of Altaf Ahmad Wagay at Yaripora, Farooq Ahmad Dar at Hanger and Ashraf Ahmad Sheikhat Rampora. The house of one Ubaid Ahamad, a resident ofMagray Mohalla Achabal, was also searched by the sleuths of NIA.
Residences of Ghulam Mohammad Butt and Abdul Kabir Dar Zainapora area of Shopian were thoroughly searched by NIA teams.
Similarly, the raids were carried out at other locations in the Kashmir valley.
An official told the media that raids were being conducted in connection with a case already registered at the NIA office. He however did not divulge the details.
