Srinagar, December 23 : India's dreaded National Investigation Agency (NIA) during house raids arrested several persons and seized house documents and other equipment of the residents in different districts in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
The NIA raided the houses of Javed Ahmad Sheikh, Iqbal Sheikh (Govt teachers), Showkat Sheikh (shopkeeper), Manzoor Sheikh (Tailor), Aamin, Bashir Ahmad Padder, Numberdar Abdul Ghani Wani and retired ASI Mohammad Ahsan Mir in south Kashmir’s Kulgam and Pulwama districts.
The NIA has also detained one person, whose name has been withheld by the dreaded NIA.
The house raids and searches were going on till last reports came in.
The Indian dreaded agency is seizing the properties, mobiles, laptops and house and land documents of the residents. The aim of the raids is to harass people and weaken their stance for resolution of the Kashmir dispute.
