Hindutva in India: Karnataka’s Govt College Bans Hijab, Use of Urdu,Arabic, Languages, Muslim Greetings

Banglore, Jan 3,2022: The Government PU college for girls has banned Muslim students  of Hijab, the use of Urdu, Arabic, and Beary language and the greeting Salam in south Indian sate Karnatka. The Government PU college for girls in Udupi City of the state has imposed such rules on Muslim studentsThe Students stood outside classrooms in protest of the college’s decision of speaking in Urdu, Arabic, and Beary languages, Hijab, and the greeting Salam.

 The Principal of the college, Rudhra Gauda refused to discuss the issue with the parents. Students mentioned that they were not being given attendance for the past three days.
Meanwhile, Nazeer Ahmed, the SDPI Udupi leader vowed to organise protest if the  Muslim  students are not allowed to attend classes with their hijabs.
