Aligarh, July 29 :Four persons have been booked for y trying to strip a 38-year-old Dalit woman in Indian state Uttar Pradesh. The police registered an FIR against the four people who assaults or uses criminal force to any woman or abets such act with the intention of disrobing or compelling her to be naked at Harduaganj police station in Aligarh district. The victim said that she was informed about a clash between her sons and some upper caste Hindu men over watering their field.
“When I reached there, I requested them to leave my sons as they were thrashing them but they did not listen to me and one of them tried to strip me by ripping off my clothes and also abused her, ” the victim said. However, she and her sons managed to escape. KMS-R
A 15-year-old Muslim boy from Madaiya village in Uttar Pradesh‘s Kannauj was allegedly locked in a room and beaten to death by three teachers at a private school.
Dilshan alias Raja, a ninth grade student was allegedly tortured over the accusation of stealing a watch, police said.
The boy succumbed to injuries in a Kanpur hospital.
Dilshan’s father, Jahangir, in his police complaint said the boy had gone to R S Inter College on July 23 for admission. One of the teacher, Shivkumar Yadav, called Dilshan to the room and accused him of stealing a watch.
Yadav with his fellow teachers, Prabhakar and Vivek Yadav, allegedly locked the student in a room and beat him mercilessly.
Police said post-mortem report will explain the cause of death, and action will be taken accordingly.
India logs 20409 new infections, 32 deaths in last 24 hours
New Delhi, Jul 29 : India logged 20,409 new coronavirus infections pushing the total tally of COVID-19 cases to 4,39,79,730,.

The daily positivity rate was recorded at 5.12 per cent and the weekly positivity rate at 4.82 per cent, according to the ministry.

The new fatalities include in Indian states like West Bengal, Karnataka ,Maharashtra, Chhattisgarh, Punjab, Uttarakhand , Goa, Gujarat, Haryana, , Kerala, Madhya Pradesh, Manipur, Mizoram, Nagaland, Odisha, Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh.

3 more Indian Rajya Sabha MPs suspended
New Delhi, July 29 The Indian Rajya Sabha adopted a motion to suspend three more members, for the rest of the week during protest inside the parliament.
The three more Indian Parliament members include Sushil Kumar Gupta and Sandeep Kumar Pathak of AAP and Independent MP Ajit Kumar Bhuyan were suspdend and the total member of Indian MP members suspended from the Rajya Sabha has gone up to 23.
As soon as the House assembled after the first adjournment, Opposition MPs continued to protest in the well of the House. Deputy Chairman Harivansh then named the three Congress members for holding placards and raising slogans.
Thereafter, V Muraleedharan, Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs, moved a motion to suspend the three members which now reached to 23.
