Jammu, April 18: The chief education officer of Jammu ordered the suspension of a master and four teachers of Government Middle School, Pounthal, in Gandhi Nagar zone in Jammu district in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
The Teachers of the government middle school were placed under suspension after the institution was found closed during working hours on Saturday, an official spokesman said.
As soon as it was reported that the school was locked during office hours, a team was sent to the school concerned to look into the matter, the spokesman said.
On the basis of the report submitted by the visiting team, all the five teachers have been suspended till further orders, the spokesman added. The matter is being looked into.
Meanwhile, the Sopore police have sealed a bread making unit in Sopore town after a video went viral showing baker kneading dough with feet and arrested two people
.“The bread is used by people across the town and such an unhygienic way of kneading the dough is not only unacceptable but asks for severe action against such bakers,” the locals said.
While confirming the incident, SHO Sopore said that the unit has been sealed and two people have been arrested and few more arrests will be made in this case.
