Lucknow, June 2 :An FIR was lodged against Alt News co-founder Mohammed Zubair for calling Hindutva extremist leaders, Yati Narasinghanand Saraswati or Mahant Bajrang Muni or Anand Swaroop, “hate mongers” in Indian state Uttar Pradesh state.The FIR was registered on the complaint of district head of Rashtriya Hindu Sher Sena, Bhagwan Sharan at the Khairabad police station in Sitapur district of the state. He claimed and made allegation that Zubair has called the aforementioned mentioned leaders “hate-mongers” as part of a “well-planned” conspiracy to spread enmity in society and hurt sentiments of Hindus.
Narsinghanand, Bajrang Muni and Swaroop have a long history of anti-Muslim of making Islamophobic remarks and calling for violence against Muslims. A few months ago, Bajrang Muni had drawn widespread criticism for issuing rape threats to Muslim women.
