New Delhi, October 10: A 27-year-old Muhammad Ameen, 27, was killed in Indian jail at Delhi’s Mandoli prison complex. The Muhammad Ameen was arrested by Indian dreaded agency , National Investigation Agency in March 2021 under the black law, Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act in Indian city in Delhi. Ameen a student was from Manakada Malappuram district of Indian staten Keralat. He was arrested on his views on social media against Indian Hindutva terrorism and injustice facing minorities mostly Muslims in India, sources reported.
Ameen’s family was told of his death by the jail administration via the local police.
Ameen’s father-in-law stated that the local police were notified of his death. According to his father-in-law, Main Kutty, Ameen called his family members and informed them he had a headache.
Ameen vomited blood in the morning, according to the co-accused, and was admitted to the hospital. He was admitted to GTB Hospital on October 7, according to media reports. He died on October 8th.
The reports said the Muslim youth was tortured to death during interrogation by the Indian agency.
The NIA filed a charge sheet against Aamin n a special court in Bengaluru in February of this year. This chargesheet also mentioned other Muslim youth including Mohammad Wakal Lone, Mijah Siddiqui, Shafia Harris, Obaid Hamid Matta, Madhesh Shankar, Amar Abdul Rahiman, and Muzammil Hasan Bhatt.
