Jammu, March 08: Body of a 50-year-old woman was found under mysterious circumstances in Poonch district in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir. The body was found in an open field near Ari Bridge at Mendhar area of the district on Wednesday, morning. The deceased was later identified as Shahmim Akhter (50).
Meanwhile, police shifted the body to Sub District Hospital Mendhar for autopsy and started inquest proceedings, a police officer said.
Meanwhile, two persons were killed in road accident in Srinagar district when an ambulance hitted two persons identified as Ali Mohammad Dar (56) and Fayaz Ahmad Chopan (48) in Parimpora area of the district.
The both injured persons were rushed to JVC Hospital where both succumbed to their injuries.
