Two Indian army officers killed, four personnel injured in Poonch blast

 Srinagar, July 18 : An  Indian army Captain and a Junior Commissioned Officer (JCO) were killed and four other personnel were injured  in a grenade blast   in Poonch district in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir. The Indian army captain and JCO were killed and four other troops were injured in an grenade blast in Gohlad- Mendhar  area of the district.


An accidental grenade blast occurred in  Mendhar  area of  the district Poonch ,  an Indian official statement said.
The blast resulted in injuries to soldiers who were immediately evacuated by helicopter to Udhampur and during the treatment one officer and one JCO succumbed to their injuries,  the official spokesman said.
Meanwhile, the authorities booked two persons under black law Public Safety Act in Jammu district. The two men two identified as Abhineet Singh alias Nagi and Davinder Kumar alais Rahul allegedly involved in various cases of attempt to murder and snatching were arrested under the black law, Public Safety Act in Jammu, police said.Both were involved in many heinous cases and many FIRs were lodged against them, police said.
