Srinagar,  March 28, 2017:  Indian troops killed three civilians including a 10th class student and injured dozens of people in Budgam district, today. The 20-young boy Zahid Rashid Ganaie (20(, Ashfaq Ahmad (22) a resident of Rangreth and Amir Fayaz (16)was killed after Indian troops indiscriminately fired on protesters at Durbugh in Chadoora area of the district. Indian forces of joint team of forces including 53 Rashtriya Rifles and Indian paramilitary Central Reserve Police Force also destroyed a residential house after using mortar shells in the same area. Dead body of one was recovered from the debris of the destroyed house in Zuin village of the central Kashmir’s Budgam district.
Two youths, Zahid Rashid and 10th class student Amir Fayaz were killed in force’s actions in Zuin village of Budgam district after clashes erupted in the area during against Indian forces.
At least 35 more civilians sustained injuries.
 
One  civilian injured critically  by Indian troops firing  in Durbugh village of Chadoora in central Kashmir’s Budgam district succumbed at the SMHS hospital in Srinagar, officials said.
Medical Superintendent SMHS Dr Nazir Choudhary confirmed that the youth, identified as Saqib Ahmad, succumbed at the hospital. He was brought to the hospital with a bullet injury in his chest.
Earlier, another civilian Zahid Rashid Ganaie from Chadoora  died with a bullet to his neck.
One of the youth identified as Zahid Rashid Ganai died when he was hit by a bullet near the Durbugh village, a police official said. Zahid was the youngest and only brother among his five sisters, two of whom are married.
 
"He was shifted to hospital for treatment following the bullet injury, but died later," he added. Protesting youths was also fired by Indian paramilitary Central Reserve Police Force personnel at Nagam village, three km away from Durbugh village.  
 
Third civilian Ashfaq Ahmad a resident of Rangreth, Budgam was shot dead in Chadoora village by government forces. Earlier, Zahid Rashid and Aamir Fayaz and Sakib Ahmad from Wathoora Budgam were killed in force’s actions.
As per hospital sources more than 25 people sustained injuries during day long clashes in Chadoora.
 
Body of one identified Touseef Ahmad Wagay S/O Ghulam Qadir Wagay after Indian forces razed the  house into ground with motor shells, locals said.
 
Local residents said troops blasted the house with explosives.
A civilian critically injured after being hit by a bullet in Durbugh village of Chadoora in central Kashmir’s Budgam district on Tuesday has succumbed at SMHS hospital in Srinagar.“He was declared dead on arrival,” said Dr Choudhary.
Earlier, BMO Chadoora Dr Dileer Ahmad Bhat said that the youth – identified as Zahid Rashid Ganaie - was brought to the Sub-district hospital Chadoora with a bullet to his neck."He was referred to Srinagar in critical condition," said Dr Bhat.
Five other youth have also been injured in the forces' action on protesters near the hospital. While three have been hit by pellets, two others have been injured due to teargas shells.

The injured has been identified as Zahid Rashid S/o Abdul Rashid Ganai R/o Chadoora (bullet injury on neck now dead), Mubasir dar S/o Gulzar  R/o Wanibagh (pellet injury), Bilal Ahmad Dar Ghulam Mohammad Chadoora (pellet injury Nazir Dar S/0 Akram R/o Chadoora (pellet injury), Sakib Ahmad S/0 Abdul Rehman R/0 Chadoora (T shell injury), Ashraf Yatoo S/0 Mushtaq ,R/0 Hayatpora (T shell injury), Owais Hassan dar S/o Ghulam Hassan R/0 Kralwari (pellet injury), Sakib Ahmad Bhat S/0 Ghulam Ahmad,R/0 Kralwari (pellet injury).
The pellet injured of Islamabad being treated in the district hospital.
A number of other civilians have received injuries and are being treated at sub-district hospital Chadoora.
