Srinagar, August 18, 2011: Three members of a family, one of them seriously, including two girls, were injured when unknown assailants attacked them in Sopore on the intervening night of Thursday.
"Three member of a family including two girls were injured when unknown assailants broke into their house in the dead of the night and attacked them with sharp edged weapons," a police official said here.
During the intervening night of Thursday, two unidentified masked men, armed with some sharp edged weapons, broke into the house of Ghulam Mohammad Mir son of Ghulam Nabi resident of Markipora, Dangiwacha Sopore and attacked his son Aijaz Ahmad Mir, an Auto driver and his two daughters namely Shamima and Kulsuma causing injuries to them.
All the injured were shifted to Soura Institute Medical Sciences in Srinagar for treatment, where condition of Aijaz is said to be critical. A case has been registered in this regard, thepolice official said. source KDNN
