Police authorities booked 3 persons under black law PSA in Bandipora, Eight youth arrested during house raids in Shopian, Kishtwar

Srinagar,  Jan 11 2019 : The authorities booked three persons under black law Public Safety Act (PSA) in Bandipora district, official said today. The police authorities booked Tawseef Ahmad Lone son of Wali Mohmad Lone a resident of Gundpora Bandipore, Abdul Samad Malla alias Samad Inqalabi, a resident of Ganastan Bandipore and Suhail Ahmad Parrey son of Zahoor Ahmad, a resident of Bangar Mohalla Hajin Bandipore under PSA, an official said.  He said the trio was shifted to Kotbalwal Jail in Jammu.
Police arrested eight youth Shopian  and Kishtwar districts. A police official said that  forces raided Kanjiuallar, Wangam, Sudershan Pora and Rakhpora villages of the Shopian district last night and picked up seven youth. While, the official said, one person identified as Abdul Rashid Thokar was later released, the six others were still in the custody of forces.
The local residents identified those arrested as Mehraj Tantray son of Mohammad Yousuf of Wangam Sudershan Pora, Afridi Hussain son of Gh. Qadir of Rakhpora, Mohsin Rashid Lone son of Ab Rashid Lone, Farooq Ahmad Bhat son of Mohammad Ayoub Bhat, Showkat Ahmad Thokar son of Abdul Khaliq Thokar and Azad Ahmad Itoo, residents of Kanjiuallar.
The Indian National Investigating Agency (NIA) team has conducted raids of two religious persons in Rajouri and South Kashmir .However, identity of the persons  couldn’t be ascertained immediately.
Kishtwar Police on Wednesday claimed to have arrested a wanted Hizb-ul-Mujahideen  member in the district. Police in a statement identified detained as Reyaz Ahmed, son of Mohd Ramzan of Sounder Dachhan.
