Srinagar, September 25, 2019: Normal life remained affectedfor the 52nd consecutive day on Wednesday with public transport off the roads while Mobile and internet servives ontinued to be snapped in the occupied Kashmir Valley since 5 August.
Main markets and other business establishments continued to remain closed, police officials said.
Public transport was largely off the roads, even as few inter-district cabs and auto-rickshaws were seen plying in some areas of the city, the officials said. Movement of private cars was unhindered, they added. There was no classwork in schools a all educational institutions were closed, officials said, The deployment of Indian forces continued in the valley. The people of Kashmir while rejecting Indian aggression in Kashmir demanded to their police future through UN resolutions right to self determination.
