Srinagar, April 28th, 2017: Indian Army on Friday ruthlessly thrashed and beat up teachers and students of a school -Madrassa in Alianpora village of Shopian. Teachers of Jamia-siraj-ul-Huda told media men that Indian Army forcibly barged into the Madrasa at around 10 am on Friday morning and took along around 30 people including students and teachers to nearby its Army camp.
The staff said that they were beaten harshly by the Indian soldiers in the camp .While speaking with media, the teachers, identified as Hafiz Sabzar Ahmad, Hafiz Bilal Ahmad and Hafiz Mohammad Iqbal of Darsgah Zia-ul-Huda Alyalpora Shopian said they were beaten with lathis. The Indian forces said that teachers should be punished for the wrongs of students. They didn’t listen to us and started the beating,” said one of the teachers.
While in another area of south Kashmir Witnesses said that youth staged massive protests in Chatapora village of Pulwama immediately after congregational prayers came to an end.
Indian Forces damage cars in Chatapora village of Pulwama said the residents of Chatapora adding that the Indian forces thrashed several residents and smashed the windowpanes of several cars in the area.
