India’s dreaded NIA raids several places in Kerala

Thiruvananthapuram, December 29 : The India’s dreaded National Investigation Agency (NIA) along with  police personnel raided several  places, including residences of  a prominent Muslims political party,  Popular Front of India in Indian state Kerala.The house raids, which started on Wednesday night are still under way in Kerala, Indian  Police officer told media.

 
Multi-agency teams spearheaded by the NIA had arrested several functionaries, including top leaders of the  Popular Front of India and in September in near simultaneous raids at multiple locations in 15 states.
 
The aim of such raids is to warn and harass Muslims to weaken Popular Front of India and to compel Muslims to follow Hindutva RSS-BJP ideology in India.
