Authorities booked 7 under black law PSA in Kashmir

Srinagar,  Oct 15 , 2018: The authorities booked seven persons under black law Public Safety Act (PSA) in Bandipora  and Islamabad (Anantnag) districts.
Sources said that five persons identified as Aadil Bashir Bhat (21) son of Bashir Ahmad Bhat a resident of Nusoo; Farooq Ahmad Ganai son of Ghulam Ahmad Ganai, SajadHussainGanai son of GhulamRasoolGanai, Bilal Ahmad Ganai alias Sahba son of Bashir Ahmad Ganai— all residents of GanaiMohallaKaloosa, and Muhammad Azhar Din Parrey son of Abdul Rahman Parrey of Chandegeer Hajin from Kaloosa, Nusoo and Hajin areas have been booked under PSA  on Sunday, 14 October 2018. They have been sent to KotBalwal jail in Jammu.
The police authority booked the leader of Ummat-e-Islami Qazir Yasir Ahamd and a Tehreek-e-Hurriyat leader Ashiq Hussain Narchoor under black law Public Safety Act (PSA) on Monday, 15, 2018 and shifted to a jail in Jammu on Monday.
Yasir was arrested last week after his press conference in which he vowed support for the people of Redwani village of Kulgam demonstrating against the establishment of another Indian army camp in the area.
Yasir had said that his organization, Ummat-e-Islami will place ballot boxes at all the main squares of south Kashmir where people will be asked to choose between Azadi and India.
Tehreek-e-Hurriyat tehsil president Islamabad, Ashiq Hussain Narchoor, who was arrested last month, was also booked under PSA and was shifted to Hira Nagar jail.
